Hi, I’m Laura
I’m a multimedia producer and musician based in Nashville, TN and New York, NY. Whether producing on an Emmy-award-winning show or acting as a one-woman-production-band, I love to pitch, script, shoot, record, and edit. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve produced for Saturday Night Live, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Great Big Story, and too many indie music videos and live sessions to count. I’m a multi-hyphenate creative who loves bringing big ideas to life.
This whole adventure began when I formed a not-so-great but hey-at-least-they’re-having-fun band in high school. I started teaching myself audio and video production as a means to showcase our original music, and I’ve been chasing creative projects since. In addition to my work in TV production, my we’re-actually-pretty-decent indie-folk duo, Skout, has independently amassed over 2.5 million Spotify streams, landed on both Spotify’s USA and Canada Viral charts, and had our music featured on MTV and NBC.
Outside of my creative endeavors, I’m a news-junkie with a not-so-subtle obsession with Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours. My favorite food is a nicely buttered biscuit and, I don’t know, I just really wanted you to know that.
